Throttlebody Missing Vac port

The throttlebody from my 98 Talon is missing a vac port. Is this the way it is supposed to be?

Yes, that is normal, I ran into the same problem when I purchased a 98 TB for my 95 and noticed the same thing. Im not sure what year the change was made though

It's normal for the 98/99 models to only have 2 nipples. I believe those were the two years that had these throttle bodies.

Thanks, good to know. Would there be any advantages to boring it out? Everything will remain stock. I am just trying to do subtle upgrades.

I see no reason to bored it out when you can just get a 1g throttle body (60mm vs. the 52mm 2g). And then you have to port your intake manifold opening to match the throttle body size.
