I didn't add everyting up, but how does this compare to Buschur's price?
-Should flow better... I would assume.

i dont have a turbo car but from the pics i have seen and from what i have heard i would choose the rnr over the buschur.buschur racing is a damn good company dont get me wrong,but the rnr looks better to me.it looks like it would flow a little bit better and it has some damn nice construction too it.the buschur does too though.if i had to choose it would be a close call but id pick the rnr.but its up to you,the buschur is just as good
 
don;t waste your money on a ported O2housing unless its an EVO3

just find a 2.5" O2 eliminator downpipe with internal dump, the WG dump will be as large or larger then anyone can port on a stock O2


i bought an RNR O2 elim last summer and will be touchin up the welds once i pull my engine, hopefully Quality Controll is better and lead times aren't 8-10 weeks like i experienced :(
 
I just purchased my RnR exhaust. I got the 3inch Turbo Back all SS and the 4inch tip. Everyone seems to really like the RnR's so i got them. I will be writing a full review with Pics and Sound clips of the exhaust..as soon as i get it. Wont be until another 2 to 3 weeks.
 
just remember to check the horn and blinker fluids as well.:laugh: :thumb:

an o2 eliminator is a piece that replaces the 02 housing as opposed to going with a ported one. it is tubular vs cast and is generally larger and better flowing.

essentially the same thing, just better.
 
i heard the o2 eliminator is hard to work with because if you have to do exhaust work you have to take it from the turbo and such just to gt it off.
 
honestly how often do you need to remove the dp? for clutch and turbo swap...thats about it. you could always take it to an exhaust shop and have them cut it and weld flanges on, or just buy the dp and 02 elim separate.
 
Damn, I was thinking of a way I could get rid of that thing, like they have for mustangs. It tells the computer that every things fine. I think mines bad, I'm getting 11 mpg. Any way to check it? I was told that I can't check it cause I have an idal surge and it would through it off.

screw it in the bung like it was before... an 02 elim is just a larger, better flowing unit that replaces the housing. same setup, just better.

you can check any 02 sensor. chilton's or haynes outline how to do that. You have to have the 02 sensor in there for open loop operation (anytime you are not at wot). with 11 mpg, I would change it.

The idle surge has nothing to do with being able to check an 02 sensor.
