evo pistons? are they worth it.

i was looking at a set of evo pistons and i was wondering if they are worth getting. looks like i will be getting eagle rods and all the after market pistons i find are big bucks. i wanted to know if they will hold up better than stock 2nd gen pistons or should i just buy a different set. keep in mind i am on a budget.

how much power do you plan on making???if you're planning on making under 500hp, i'd stick with the 2g pistons...evo pistons, from a quality stand point, aren't made any better than the 2g, they just have a little higher compression...if you plan on making 500+hp and are on a budget, i'd suggest wiseco forged pistons...you can pick a set of those up for around $400...just my oppion..

If you aren't going to go with forged, stick with the 2G pistons.
