Ok here is the deal. Iam building a drag car. But it is for a pro street. So basically i can gut everything, and plus it will see some odd street duty. So here is my question. What things can i get rid of under then engine bay?

I want as little under their as there can be. I want it to be very simple. I know im getting rid of AC, PS, CC, ABS, blah blah. but what other things are in there that i can get rid of???

you didnt mention emissions.. you could also get a lightweight battery..

yah i for got about Emissions. But yah there gone. Im not really looking to lighten it up as much as simplify it. Any other idiea?

the bracket under the intake manifold, the bracket on the exhaust manifold, obviously the lower heat shield for the turbo manifold.

buy the egr block off plate from mitsu and reduce your emissions. buy smaller fans, radiator, etc. Our engine bay is pretty empty as it is.
