suppose You had a 91 eagle Talon TSI awd in excellent shape? but the tranny blew on you! would you rebuild the stock one or get a better one? if a better one which one? and where? The use for this car will be for the street and I am talking a 5 spd standerd manual. The car has a great engine and I eventuly want to do a few engine mods to go along w/ my new tranny or working tranny. If you were in my shoes with about 4 grand for a tranny and a few engine upgrades and another 2 grand for a turbo what would you do?

find a cheap one, install it and have your old one rebuilt with mods... or just keep it around as replacement for things that break in your new one...

either way, its all good.
