I have the 3" Extreme Motorsports exhaust and I was wondering how you take the resonator out to make it louder bc it is only loud downshifting, I heard some are welded in there? Thanks...

you should be able to see the resonators......they look like bulges in the pipe ..........i know the factory set up has two......i dont know about the cat back you have.....hope this helps

I dont think they have resonates dude. I have the extreme 3" turbo back on my 1G (dont know if its different design) but I have not resonaters

Austin

did you order it with resonators? here is their info: "It utilizes 3" all mandrel-bent stainless steel piping and a fully polished 6" round stainless steel muffler with a unique 4" slash-cut tip. As compared to the Thermal 3" system, this new Extreme Technologies design is a good bit quieter (w/resonator; slightly quieter without)" a pic: http://www.extrememotorsports.com/g2cat/2_ex30a_res-l.jpg

it will only have them if you told them to put it in (it was extra)

yeah i'm not sure if it definatley does have a resonator in it because when i bought my car the exhaust was already on there.
