Hi, quick question. I am yanking the motor back out of my car within the next couple days. I am dropping off the 2g exhaust manifold, the o2 housing and the turbo to a friend of mine who does porting. I have yet to see anything on porting the intake other than extrude honing it. Is there a reason nobody does this? I do his bodywork for free so he does my port work for free, so if there is an advantage to this I may as well put him to work. If you do port the intak how much should he clean out and where from? Or do I just have him port the heck out of it? Just wondering  . Thanks for any input you might have :thumb:

Larry is right... if you dont port the head you will have an obvious blockade going on (depending on exactly what you do ofcourse). If you just port out the TB/inlet a little bit then no harm there, but the reason noone really does it is because in stock form they are very efficient. Many have run low 11's I know of with stock heads
