Is boost creep a bad thing...?

Is boost creep a bad thing if your not running the max boost that your car is capable of? I'm running 15PSI and it sometimes spikes up to about 18 PSI at times. My car has run 18 PSI regularly before. So, is boost creep a bad thing anyways?

You will only know if boost creep is bad if you log your car. If your car is tuned for 15lbs and when you spike you knock or run lean then it is bad. However if you run a little rich up top you should be ok. I would be more annoyed with the difference in power application.
