Basicaly, my engine is blown, timing belt snapped. destroying one of the pistons and a coupple valves...

I intend to have the block reworked. what would be the best bore to go with when i do that, i will be running it with the stock fuel pump and injectors for a while and no turbo upgrade for a while either. I would like 15psi before all the fuel upgrades, and then hope to hit 20 when i get the BIG 16g and all the fuel upgrades, this will be a dialy driver too... so reliable with these specs would be good

RODS - what ones should i get... i know crower is #1 but i dont plan on pushing that much HP, my goal is 350-400, and the price is a little overboard for me.
Turbotrix has Eagle rods at allmost half the cost, but how good are these compared to 90' rods? and is it really worth it?

PISTONS- Again there are alot of choices. Ross street pistons come with the rings at a very good price, are these better than 95 pistons? if i decide to go with stock 90 rods, will they need to be machined, like they would for 95 pistons?

ARP BOLTS- Should i go with just the head bolts, or the main and rod bolts as well?

TIMING COVER WITH OIL PUMP GEARS- Yes or No? a rather high price tag, if it doesnt need to be replaced, id rather put the money eleswhere.
also while im in there, should i do the balance shaft removal, and is there welding involved?

HEAD GASKET- Multi layer steel is the best for the $$ right?

Oh, standard and oversized berrings, what are the differences, and what will i need

rather than take up everyones time furthermore, ill ask about the uper engine later, please help me out, and if you can think of anything elese that im missing on the lower half let me know.

-With the horsepower levels you're looking to get out of the car, you might be best suited to go with 1G big rods. Some have made up to 450-500 horse reliably w/ them.

-Again, with the fact that you want a daily driver and reasonable horsepower levels, I would imagine the 2G pistons would be a good choice and not as pricey as other options.

- Definitely go with head bolts and rod bolts. The mains are up to you. Some people argue that they are not actually the same size as stock and could lead to crankwalk. There are some other cons as well. Do a little research.

- Definitely replace the oil pump drive gear and the driven gear. The aluminum housing is up to you depending on wear, but most will recommend that it gets replaced. The balance shaft removal is worth your while since you're in there and it is only 50 bucks.

- Again, there are many different arguments for which is the best head gasket. Some like the felpro's, others like the oem 4 layer, and there is a new one out there made by Cometic that people seem to be having good luck with.

- Your machine shop should be able to tell you which sizes you need. Also, the common bore size is .020 over. There is not much power to be gained, it is done to make absolutely sure the cylinders are perfectly round.

Call Conicelli, they have great prices and the guys know what they're talking about. Umm...do a couple of searches on the pistons topic or i'm sure others will chime in to tell you the ups and downs. I'm running JE's and have all of 50 miles on the motor so i can't really speak out of experience.
