Ok ive got this non turbo throttle body im going to use its a non turbo. I was told that i should put new o rings inside because the seals wont handle boost should i put new o rings inside both ends or just the one? i can get some from work but any idea where else i could look for some o rings this small?

You should replace both TB shaft seals with approved seals, not standard Orings. You can buy them from jnztuning.net (best just to call them) or machv.com

Yes the seals would be your best bet. I tried using o-rings once and they leaked like crazy, i even used some that were a very tight seal and they made the throttle stick and still leaked boost. Use an actual seal similar to the crank seal just alot smaller.

i have had good success with home dept seals. with my turbo throttle body. i have taken apart a n/a throttle body and cant figure out how to replace the seals in it. i have read that you need to swap the turbo outside casings but am not sure of this yet...

i saw the seals from jnz. are they the same? i wasnt totally sure if that throttle body was 90 or 91...

When I was looking into getting a NA throttle body bored out to use in a turbo application I was told by the guys at O2 Induction that you need to get the NA TB machined so it can accept the turbo shaft seals.

maybe i should send it out and have it redone who could do this?
