What to buy first?

I got $1000 to spend on some new toys for my car. i have no mods what so ever yet...i was thinking going for the basics. intake, exhaust, headers and maybe upgrade the fans. i would like some imput from you guys about which stuff to actually get. i am looking to run mid 12's to low 12's. i just dont know if i should get big headers, 3.5 or 4 inch exhuast. i need some professional help from you guys.

What car do have? Is it turbo? If it is, forget the "headers", forget the fans. First look at all the free mods avail. for you vehicle. Then Boost guage, exhaust(3" from turbo back), intake(look at Dejon Tool), MBC. This will about exhaust most of that $1K. Start off by looking at the Tuning giude, and parts guide pages on this board. Good luck

thanks for the help, its a 1992 eagle talon TSI, AWD. so use only 3 inch back from the turbo? sounds good, thanks for the help again.

Uicp...200 bucks...are get a custom maybe 100 bucks are less
turbo back..300-600 depends on kind..are if u go custom are not
Mbc...50 bucks
Bov....200 bucks...stock cant hold much..didnt check if u have 2gen are not..

So u have a little money to play with
