1991 gsx???

i have a great opportunity to go from a 1.8, to a 2.0 turbo, for $3000. the car is in good condition based on what i have seen of it. What i want to know is... the motor is a DOHC 2000... does this mean that they put a new motor in it, or does it come that way? thanks

i'm not sure i follow what you're saying... the turbo engines are dual cam, 2litre, 16valve, turbo'd monsters... if the engine has a turbo attached to it then its the right one

That just means that it is a Dual Over Haed Cam 2000 cubic centimeter engine. They all say this. 2.0 litres = 2000 cubic centimeters. Just like mine.

-Talon; Eclipse & Laser 2.0L turbo all share the same 4G63 motor, the casting on the valve covers have different writting on them depend on brand, could be a replacement motor or just a new valve cover alone.
