Stuck Exhaust Housing

I'm having a problem trying to port my turbo, I can't get the thing apart. Is there some trick to separating the compressor and exhaust housings other than just removing the clamp?

I've applied PB and bashed on it with a mallet for hours and they will not separate. Am I missing something here?

Smash the housing with a hammer, but cover the exhaust housing with a rag or something,my 14b was hard as hell to get apart from the exhaust housing so I used a hammer

Thanks, I just wanted to make sure that overwhelming force was what I should be using here
