oil squirters on 2.4l conversion

O.K, I've been researching a 4g64 swap into my 91 tsi. I think I have the majority of it figured out. The one piece of info I can't find answers to is about the oil squirters for the pistons. I know that they are crucial to running higher boost but what exactly are they and where do I drill them in? I'm not looking for pro's and con's of this swap, just technical info on this question. Thanks for your help.

I have a Magnus 4g64 sans squirters. To combat this I bought a big setrabl oil cooler. To machine the squirters in I think you would be looking at $$. Call BJ's cylinder head and I bet they could answer your questions over the phone.

Something to consider is using a good piston coating like CBX Powerkote. It will give you the benefits of the squirters without the cost.

I understand that machining the squirters would be a big deal but what I want to know is where are they located in the engine? If I knew that I can probably answer my own question.

Turn the block over and look at it from the bottom. You should see some round edges from the oil galley where the cylinder walls begin. The squirters sit on the oil galley.
