Hey guys, I'm just not sure what to get next for my talon. I blew the headgasket and have everything apart and the head is at the machine shop. This is a great time to do any number of mods, but I just can't decide what to get next. I'm looking to max this BigT28Killer out and will probably move up to a 50 trim or Holset H1C next. The car runs E85 and is an auto

ETS "street" FMIC, Forge BOV
1050cc Injectors, 255hp rewired, AFPR and -6 lines

I can afford like one mod, and I am torn between many things. Springs/retainers, cams, Hafe or FP exhaust manifold...what do you guys think would help me the most right now
 
Since you have the head I would say cams. Altough some cams like the FP 2x series ones required new dual valve springs and retainers. And also APR studs should be used too so one less thing to change later.

It also depends on your budget. I would hold on getting the FP mani unless you are stayin with a mitsu style turbo. Don't want to spend money twice.

if you only have the money for part of it id get the springs first as its alot easier to swap cams , plus you dont wanna put a bigger cam with stock springs but stock cam with better springs would be ok til you got the bigger cams you want
 
Springs/reatainers= Not needed with some cams= Waste of money right now
Manifold=Ported 2g manifold will support a lot= Waste of money right now
FP2 cams= Stock springs are ok. Will gain noticable power= Winner


I rev my FP2's to 8,000,sometimes 8250, with stock springs and don't have a single sign of valve float. There are quite a few other people that do similar also.
