Ok guys,

I’m torn over a few things here. First, All my mods are up to date in my profile but here they are for ease:
Car is a 99 GSX with 81k miles.

EVO3 Intake manifold and coil pack,
1G throttle body,
k&n Fipk,
Injen Intake,
Greddy type-S bov,
Greddy intercooler piping,
apexi turbo timer,
autometer phantom boost/vac gauge and EGT gauge,
HKS hi-power exhaust,
Greddy profec B spec2,
NGK plugs and wires,
RRE catch can,
Hondata heat shield spacer
Greddy radiator cap.

NOT INSTALLED:
Hahn FMIC,
ported o2 housing,
Ported EX manifold,
RC 550s,
walboro 255,
Apexi GT downpipe.
Eprom ECU

I have not installed those mods because I need to go back to the dyno to see what gain the evo3 intake manifold, 1G throttle body and hondata manifold spacer give me.

I don’t have specific goals like a certain HP or a certain time at the track.
I do want to be faster than most EVOs, STIs, mustangs, BMWs, and the occasional corvette. Not condoning any type of street racing. I just want to be faster.

I was very set on an evo316g for a long time, but I have a friend that wants to get rid of a PTE 50 trim for cheap. I guess I’m asking if a 50 trim is overkill for my goals.
Other factors:

DSM-link: It would be nice but its very expensive and my goals aren’t huge. BUT I do already have an EPROM ECU.

550s: probably have to go bigger with either turbo.

255lph: I still need an AFPR.

Yes, I have read the upgrade paths. I'm looking for opinions on what I have and what I should get rid of in favor of somethng better.
If anyone sees anywhere I could improve my set-up, please let me know.

So yeah. The car is payed off and I'm getting a raise at work. Where do I go from here?

Well, this is the way I see it. You'll need some form of fuel management, and you have an EPROM already, so why NOT get the DSMLink? It will give you the most flexibility in the future, and let you run bigger injectors than an AFC and have less headaches than a MAF-T.

As for the injectors, get Link, then buy as big as your budget allows. This not only gives you room to grow, but also margin for error.

Finally, if you can get a 50-trim in good shape for the price of an E3, go for it. Again, this will give you something to grow into. Of course, an E3 is nothing to look down on, either, and is a VERY capable turbo.
