After installing my Greddy type s bov my boost gauge is reaching 16,17 and 18psi sometimes and slowly going down, is this ok for my turbo? With the stock bov the gauge was reaching 14psi max. Can the bov be adjusted to hold only about 15psi max? Is is safe to run like that? Help!!!

I think your experiencing boost spike...but I'm new to this. but yeh if you have a manual boost controller turn it down a bit. If not then uhh, you should have to adjust the BOV cause you don't want it leeking. The only reason you adjust it is if it is leeking or if it is too tight and not opening enough.

DUDE, no, NO REGARD... well dosent the bcs regulate boost? man im just about to get a type s, it also could be too tight a spring

The old BOV leaks like a bastard. This only alows you to see so much boost. Now that you have a good BOV that doesn't leak, the engine is getting more air (that was previously vented back into the intake. You NEED a MBC to reduce your new found boost.
