just got the Big 16g installed and I notice I'm boosting only 9-10 psi max which was usually at 12-14psi with the T25 @ stock boost settings. is that normal?

The bov seems to have gotten more quiet after the turbo upgrade (should I tighten or loosen the screw on the Greddy bov?). I notice the turbo lag but it pulls nicely after it spools. I can't really feel the power increase but maybe it's because it's only boosting 9-10psi.

will I be able to raise the boost to 14-15psi with stock fuel system or should I upgrade the fuel system so I can run 18-19psi?

The wastegate is different, taht is why you are seeing different boost correct?

Readjust you boost controller to 13-14psi. I wouldnt go any higher than that on a stock fuel system.

your wastegate is opening to early... adjust it with a MBC so you get a bit more boost... i hold 17 PSI on my 16g with 510 injectors without problem, i can tap fuel cut when i max it out in 4th or 5th gear sometimes tho.... (stock fuel pump...)

HMMMMMMM I havent really noticed anything different wit mine ecsept way better acceleration. Havent really paid attention to wut boost gauge reads will do and reply again.

Same prob here... I have a B16g, 660's, S-AFC and even a Profec B! i CAN'T boost more then 10. It feels like it wants to go higher.... but it doesn't. It'll boost 10 then 12 then back to 10 and creep to 15 and the top of the gear. Itried sharpening the boost curve and nothing :( What could it be?

I figured out the prob it is the waste gate we need to adjust itso it dont open at 10-12 but if you dont have after market fuel injectors itll get too lean and..............BOOM!!!

Well I got my boost working last night..... Boosts 21 no prob!!! Just had to give it a sec. Now it comes on fast and hauls ass........ But now, the clutch has become one slippin bish!!!!!!!!!!! Once I get back from vegas its 2600 time!

do any of you guys have pics of your big16g installed in your engine??? i am planning on getting it cause i am looking for high 12's, but i kinda want to see it if i can, thanks guys.....good luck sorting out your problems....hopefully i dont have any, i am going to have Road///Race install mine and adjust it for me....

I was running a big 16G ported at 15 PSI with no fuel mods onlystock open d/p and K&N filter...it was running a bit lean so I wouldn't suggest it but you can do it....

a walboro 255 will be good for 18 to 20 psi on pump gas and about 22 on race gas... make sure you have colder plugs set to .028 gap also you should have some sort of exhaust mods...I am now running a 3 inch o2 elim to help spool and power... with the walboro you'll run a bit rich but it won't affect driveability and it makes it safe for high boost....

Damn i got my big 16g set at 14 on the stock fuel system(not rewired yet) and I hit fuel cut if i go too high in 2nd or 3rd
