I just bought a 1990 Talon AWD and the previous owner had an A-pillar boost gauge , but it was stolen. The only thing left is two small wires. There is no vacuum tube at all which makes me think it was an electric gauge. Are electric gauges as accurate? Should I go w/ a replacement one or go for a mechanical gauge?

most likely those are the two wires for the light in the guage

do the wires have a clip on them or are they just open end wires?? even knowing that wnot make it positive what it was, best bet is to contact the previous owner and find out what gauges were in the car.

He wasn't too sure , I am the 5th owner so most of the stuff was done by the 3rd owner not him. They are open ended wires. No vacuum tube is there but electric boost gauges are soo exspensive that mechanical is more likely. I'm gonna buy a mechanical anyway. Thanks!
