just a put a new alternator in my car, and the 80amp fusible link. The alternator won't engage and i dunno what the deal is. The pulley's turnin', battery voltage is droppin', and i can't get the stupid alternator to engage.

Did you make sure the fuse didnt blow? Are you sure all your connections are correct?

More than likely the alternator ground is loose or the connector on the front is loose or disconnected.

Test voltage before and after the fuseable link. I bet the alternator is fine, and there is a break in the wires that run under the radiator. Its just a shot in the dark. I've seen it happen before.
