Nova,
hey, I'm wondering if it would make a difference in the compressor surge based on the location of the BOV on the piping. I am custom making all my IC piping along with an NPR FMIC install in the mirage. So, I got a TXS-H34 and won't bother flanging it, I'm just gonna weld the sleeve onto the pipe and stick it on, but I don't know where. I was just gonna put it on the UICP like where it is located stock, but got to thinking where it would do its job best. Its there to relieve compressor surge, so wouldn't it work better the closer it is to the compressor outlet, or does this then make the boost surge at the other end when the throttle plate slams shut?

Or, am I just overthinking all this because boost will get bled no matter where the BOV is?
