Different Fuel Pump Question, experiences.

Alright, well, i have 3 friends with 255lph pumps... here's how the results go.

90' AWD Talon: Runs rich as ####.... but decent none the less. Spits stupidly huge flames out of his exhaust.. thats last for up to 30 seconds.

2G FWD Eclipse: Seems to run every bit fine...

91' FWD Eclipse: Runs horrible, it backfires at full throttle.

None of these guys have Fuel pressure regulators... or any sort of tuning devices.

Now, i dont want to put a 255 in my car and have problems, because i hear it overides the stock fuel pressure regulator...

So, my question is this, i hear a 190lph does not override the stock FPR, so how far can i get with a 190lph? (Horsepower wise) And will the car run any richer? Or will it run like a stock car, except for the fact that i'll be able to turn the boost up more.

Well, neither will i, if i get a pump.. the only reason i'm getting one is to safly run the 15-17psi i want too...

I'm spending all my money to get the car rust-free, and painted/put some un-bent wheels on it...

So do you think the 190lph will be best for my perdicament???

190 will support a lot of power. It will have no affect on how rich it runs during normal cruising. It just keeps you from running too lean at WOT. get it, you'll like it

I think if you run anything larger than a 20g or 550 injectors you need a 255iph warlboro for sure. Did you know BBK pumps are really Warlboro ?
