I'm having a slight issue with this 95 tsi I just picked up. Idles fine until warm then idles between 2500 and 3000. I was watching my laptop and the DSMLink showed at around 140 degrees was fine, 185 degrees idles at 3k. if i drive around town she idles really high, if i get up on the highway for 5 minutes then get back off she idles fine but shes back down to 140 degrees. I considered re-routing the tb coolant lines but being in wisconsin I'm not sure its the best option. if anyone has any insight i would appreciate it. Thanks all

This car is stock by the way, minus the recirculated bov

I turned the fans via DSMLink, kept the temp steady @ 152 (+/- a couple degrees) and idled right at 1200 rpm's..... I would rather not have to run the rpm's down this way so if anyone has any insight please fill me in..... Just a thought, would a bad thermostat cause this at all? i know the t-stat is junk and its on my to do list but thought i'd mention it... thanks all.
