Summit DIS Box

Has anyone had any experience with the summit racing dis box part #SUM-850602. I've looked at the MSD Dis-2 and really don't need the timing retard. Would there be any other options for a cheaper kit?

That's made for vehicles with a distributor, won't work with our cars.

I have not checked said box out or verified the name of said box. But if it is a "DIS box" then what does the "DIS" stand for if not "distributorless ignition system".

Well I actually should have said like that kit only for "DIS". Are their any other options other than the MSD DIS-2/4 or the Dynatek CDI. Just looking for a basic DIS box that doesn't have the feature of timing retard since i already have something for that.
