Will these two work together. I am already beginning to notice some major wiring problems, in the fact that a lot of stuff does not seem to be getting power. Should I get a 1990 ECU, or have the wiring problems fixed by me or a mechanic (obviously an expensive task)

Has anyone ever found detailed information about using the 91+ ECU on the 90 model cars? From what I've been able to gather, there are two wires in the harness that need to be swapped around and a tach unit from the 91+ cars needs to be used... Anything else need to be done to make this work?

I am wanting to use the 1990 harness with 90' coil pack and the ECU is 91-94. I know about the two wires that may or may not need to be swapped: airflow sensor and idle position switch. Do I eed to do that, and still change the tach? This website has shown some answers, but also given me more questions on what to change, because I want to keep all my 90' ignition parts, and keep the 90' harness. I got a tach that is from 91-94' cars too, so I believe I do not need the tach done, but maybe I need to wire it in, since the harness is a 90', correct?

Oh well.. the ECU I just got in the mail today is in factory new condition and was also EPROM.. looks like I won't be needing to swap to a 91-94 ECU after all :)
