where to get a turbo rebuilt for good price?

hey guys, not sure if i'm posting this in the right place but I just recently bought a T28 turbo that needs to be rebuilt. I've searched a little but can't really find much on T28 rebuilds....I'm not looking to spend a lot of money on this but I want it rebuilt....it just has in and out play barely any side to side/up and down.

My question is does anyone know where a good place to get this turbo rebuild without spending a ton of money, or can i do it myself? I know i'd still have to get it balanced somewhere but I'm from WI and I don't know any places around here that would do it....I know I should search more into this but I figured someone else might be able to help me out that has more experience with this than i do!

I haven't personally used these guys but I've heard nothing but good things about them. They were very helpful and quick to reply to my emails.

I believe this post belongs in turbo tech forum, not bolt-on.

FP is probably the best bet, but they are not cheap.

I'd be curious to find out what pricing you get from these 3 different vendors.

Give Majestic Turbo a call, they're under new ownership, but the quality is what you're getting and the cost still won't be as bad as some places 1-800-231-5566.

Do it yourself and save a couple hundred. Just scribe lines on the compressor, nut, and shaft and line them back up when your done. Vfaq has a writeup on how to do it, granted its on a 14b, but its similiar.
