Richmond Hill,
I am performing the BCS mod as we speak, along with the intake gutting which was already a success.... now I've stuck little drill bits down the shorter BCS hole, but nothing ever comes back up... am I using the right hole, did I shred this thing that I am supposed to take out already? If so, what are the consequences? I wanted to try to dig a little deeper, but I don't want to push too hard as the directions said to be VERY careful with it. All help would be very much appreciated, i'm working on it right now. Thanks in advance guys.

If you look at the 2 holes one is smaller. Its smaller because of the reducer sleeve. I used a small self-tapping screw and screwed it in the small opening/sleeve 1/2 turn by hand (maybe less) This is just enough to catch the restricting sleeve so you can pull it out.

Ahh... so it was the wrong hole I was using! Could I have damaged anything poking around in the other hole? I won't end up blowing up my engine from too much boost will I?

Thanks for the info.

I don't think you could have caused damage. You'll probably see another 2psi of boost or so which won't cause any harm, but will increase the fun factor of your car. I've done this to 6 cars so far and none have had a problem.

Ok I have the BCS with me, I am using a safety pin to get down the whole because I couldn't find anything else small enough. Now is this piece that I have to take out at the absolute END of the hole, somewhere in the middle or what? What does this thing look like anyway? I can't really seem to find it.

Yea its hard to see, and in a few milimeters. I just put a drill bit in the hole that was just as big as the hole. Then I used my drill to slowly drill out that tube.

worked fine, but once you make a MBC, you won't be using this system anymore

Its just a little tube/sleeve about 1/4 in. long that is stuffed in the tube of the BCS. Make a little right angle bend on the pin, but only enough to slide it in the small hole. You will use the right angle part of the pin to hook the back of the sleeve. Just gently pull the sleeve out. When you pull the sleeve out both the upper and lower tubes of the BCS will look the same size.

AHHH now I see it :) Thanx a lot guys... I think I can manage from here now that I know what I am trying to do heh :)
