just turned up my boost, help me!

I have a boost gauge, upper intercooler pipe, 1g bov, turbo to mas pipe, a k&N filter charger, and a mbc. I turned up my boost and it happened to be set at 17 psi. I drove the car around and i dont think there was any knock/detonation. Should I turn it down to 15 psi just to be sure? I dont have an exhaust system yet but i think im going to buy a 2.5 inch turbo back or 3 inch turbo back shortly. Any preferences? I don't really need an O2 eliminator do I?

well, I would turn it down a little, and what do you mean you don't think you had any knock.

If you don't know, then don't turn it up man Get a datalogger.

Yes you will need a 02 housing if you dont you will have some boost creep problems. creep sucks!

Don't bother with a stupid O2 housing. Buy an O2 eliminator downpipe and be rid of all that nonsense entirely and never have to worry about it again.

before my rebuild....i had my t25 pushing 14psi (16 spike) with 165K miles and had no problems...until my oil pump took a dump...lots of pretty smoke! ...thus the big16g and a rebuild

get an o2 eliminator, vent to air and 3" turbo back
its worth it in the long run....

O2 housings are not always the cure.

The exhaust needs to match your power goals. If your goals are modest, go with a 2.5" downpipe with a ported 2G o2 housing and a 3" cat-back and you will be fine.

Sorry to interupt. If i have the Apexi N1 downpipe and exhaust, the only way to eliminate the o2 housing would be to get another downpipe?
