i just bought a 4G64 block in place of the 4G63 block

maybe im an ignorant motherf-cker but isnt the 4G64 a 2.4L non-turbo ? Will that engine take good boost ?

I got a friend here in AZ that has a 4G64 in his 98 GSX. Car has Eagle Rods,JE pistons, Total seal rings,built 2g head with all the bells and whistles and just about every mod to support it. Went for a ride in it when it was just put in. Keep in mind the car is not even tuned yet and oh my god I almost shitted my pants just going around the block when he stepped on it. Talk about some torque this f*@#*in car yanked like you wouldn't believe. As far as the turbo he is running the 60-1. Unfortunately we were only able to have the car running for two days, something went wrong with the crank. Engine came out and got sent to the shop to see what went wrong. Just waiting to hear back from the shop to see what it is. HE will soon register on here. This will definitely be a fast ass car. For sure low 11's.

I plan on doin the same thing pretty soon, i have been hittin up junk yards lookin for the block hopefully i can find one pretty soon. I cant wait.
