Which exhaust and o2 housing is better 1G or 2G or are they the same?
I'm giong to port them too.
See I'm getting a 91 tsi awd parts car with a good motor but I want to get the mani ported and put it on my 2G but a friend of mine told me that the 2g had a better flowing manifold even after porting so I just wanted to make sure.
Let me know

What he said. Plus the 2g doesn't like to crack like the 1G.

Hey I got my answer no need to start fighting I'm getting the car anyway I think, it runs better than I thought I just need to get the turbo taken care of.

Thanks again
Adam

hey. Would a 2g exhaust manifold bolt right up to my stock turbo? If so what downpipe would i buy, one for a 1g or a 2g? Would it matter what size downpipe (2.5" or 3"). Any info would help.

you would still need the 1g downpipe I would think since it bolts to the turbo not the exhaust mani and if your going to a bigger turbo in the future (i.e. larger than big 16g) go with the 3"

how much power can you get using a evo manifold.ive gotta buy 1 soon so i figured id ask.
