For those of you with a Magnus SMIM

I received one and it did not have the tab for the throttle plate to bolt to. Could someone take a few quick measurements, so I could have the machine shop add the tab for me?

Length from Inlet to tab edge:
Length, Height, and width of tab itself:
Hole locations:

This info would really help me out! I don't just want to use an educated guess

The one on mine was in the wrong place, about 2 inches off. If you want it perfect mock-up the install, take measurements then weld it on.

If you bought it new from Magnus, tell them to send you one that was built correctly, and send yours back.

Magnus will fix this problem for you if you call and tell them, one of our local dsmer's had the same problem.

I did not purchase it directly from Magnus, which is where the problem lies. So I do need to fix it myself. Please post measurements if you have a moment to take them. Thanks

I can probally take a pic with a tape measure on my JMF mani, I do not know how close the JMF and Mangus are though.

My Magnus is sitting on the kitchen table right now - I'll try to remember to pull some measurements from it this afternoon.

Hopefully Marco doesn't stab me in the eye with a spork for giving out bracketry measurements.

In my Experience they are always all a little off so I think you would be better off just mocking it up and seeing for yourself.

Thank you very much. With your numbers I was able to get a good idea of what I needed. A visit to the machine shop and $20 later, and now my throttle cable no longer sits on a mangled piece of angle iron!
