I have a 1g throttle body on my 2g and now i'm wondering can i switch over to a n/t throttle body from a 1g n/t without any different fitament issues or anything i'm well aware of the lip it has on it, does any one else use this on their 2g? I plan on making new intercooler piping but my 1g throttle body is all beat up and sirty frmo sitting around under a vice and i have an nt one around but i don't want any poor performance out of it, let me know guys.

You will need shorter bolts and studs to mount the TB to the intake manifold. Other than that I don't see any problems, besides customizing the UICP to fit on the TB with no elbow.

You may want to look into replacing the shaft seals and BISS screw o-ring. They are a common spot to find boost leaks.

you may also want to take off your intake manifold and bore it out larger since the 1g nt tb is bigger then the 1g turbo tb

1gnt is the same opening as a 1g turbo 60mm. but 1gnt have thinner shaft seals so there prone to boost leak easier.

I do know what to do to the intake manifold already, 2gawdtalon is this on your talon. or for another car.

You don't have to machine the shaft seal bore in order to use turbo shaft seals. I rebuilt a N/T throttle body and used turbo seals and it sealed just fine.
