I need to purchase a bung to install on my exhaust for my wideband. Do I have to be careful about the quality of metal?

Seems to be nicely angled and everything.

Do you think a muffler shop would over charge for a bung or just get one from them when they weld it

How should i angle it when installing?

Turbo_____//______ or Turbo________\\________

second option seems like it would allow dirt and oil to flow past the sensor

As long as it's steel it'll be fine.

Independent (non-chain) muffler shops usually don't overcharge as they need the business.

When it's angled it shoudln't matter much, either way it'll protrude flow and get an accurate reading as long as the tip is far enough into the exhaust flow.
