I am looking for a review, feedback, pics or anything anyone has on this exhaust.

This is possibly for my daily driver. I have had my share of wide open 3" exhausts. The car (97 GST) had an N1 on it years ago. It was nice, but the tip is a bit much my for my tastes now. It now has a stock 95 exhaust on it and it is showing it's age. I would like to open up the exhaust a bit, but sitting in traffic an hour each way to work listening to a rumbling exhaust is not my idea of fun anymore.

Would this exhaust with a high flow cat be reasonably quiet? I know it will make some more noise and that's fine. I want SOME increase in rumble and performance. I just don't want to wake up the world when I leave for work.

Any other modest exhausts out there for the elderly? I'm open to other options.

The world sport 2 is a pretty good exhaust sytem from what I hear. I myself had the n1 and I agree the canister and tip are huge and attract cops even with the silecer in it was pretty beefy looking. Hopefully someone on here will have a sound clip or some other feedback.

Have you taken a look at the Thermal R&D catback? I'm making the same decision because I daily drive my car and dont want to set off all the alarms in the parking garage. For a little more the Thermal is also all stainless steel which really was the tie breaker between the two.

Here's a link to what one member did to further quiet down his thermal:

Yes I have seen and heard Thermal's. The tip and the large muffler are a bit much for me. I am looking for an oval.

I am also wondering if N1 downpipes etc bolt up to the ws2 catback.

The Apexi WS2 is the catback that I have installed. I've been very happy with this catback exhaust - its only slightly louder than stock under normal driving conditions. The muffler and tailpipe are stainless steel, while the remainder of the catback is aluminized steel, I believe. This system seems to reach a good compromise between sound level and performance. I decided to go with a 3-inch cat and downpipe, both from RRE (Road Race Engineering), which bolted right-up to this catback. I only wish that this catback was entirely stainless steel. However, it has held up well over the past 2 years.

Thank you very much! Exactly what I wanted to hear. Any pics of it from the rear?

Sorry, my digital camera has been on the fritz for some time. However, I can tell you that the tailpipe and muffler are fairly large. The tailpipe is about 4.5" in diameter at the end. The muffler measures roughly 10" (horizontal) X 8" (vertical). On my car, which has a stock suspension (not lowered in any way), I have about 6.25" of clearance between the base of the muffler and the ground. The main reason I chose this catback was that it was one of the few 3" catbacks with an only slightly louder-than-stock decibel level. Hope this helps!:)
