The back of the box says they recommend a 30 amp fuse if running a 12" 1650 cfm SPAL slimline fan as a main fan otherwise a fuse may blow. However, this is just general info and not specifically for DSMs. Has anyone ran a fan like this as their main fan? I can't find the info on their website nor in the forums. I'd really like to hear how you all hooked up your high power slimlines.

I hooked up a 810 cfm SPAL for my a/c fan to the stock wiring and no problems. But this bigger fan is twice as powerful. Advice?

Use a 30 amp realy and run a wire directly from the battery, use the stock fan wiring to trigger the relay. That would be the best way to do it. Just like wiring a fuel pump rewire.

I'll buy the relay as I have all the wiring and connectors I need already. I'll give you a call about this soon. I plan to install it as soon as my koyo gets here on wed.
