i know my car has the simptoms of cranwalk cause when i take a left the clutch would stay in. also the oil level went down for no apparent reason. ... ok so a couple of weekends im on the highway on my way to the local street races. as i get out on the exit my car died
 and then i turned it back on, it would start but i would have to keep rpm at like 2k. there was a weird noise coming from the engine. it was like a loud ticking noise. the boost gauge (factory) was reading full boost. if i took my foot of the gas the car would die.
what coud be wrong with my car? the turbo ? engine or what???????

i went to the mitsubishi dealer and ask them about a new block.
they have a block for $2,000. they guy said that its the new revised block and wont get cranwalk but im not sure i wanna trust these people
what do u guys think?

I have heard of those walking as well, but rare (probably because not enough miles to see it's fate yet) but the good side is that it'll be a direct swap.

I guess the dealer can't give you any warranty against future CW right?

Loud ticking noise? IMO and from personal experience as of last night. A loud ticking noise turned into my motor punting the #1 connecting rod and cap through the oil pan, oh and also the balance shaft and the oil pump broke. I will got to mitsu and check with them too and see what all comes with that block. later man
