For starters have searched and searched again but every picture I find is or either a 1gb or 2g dsm...

I've been trying to figure out how to mount a kill switch in the keyhole area of a 1ga awd.

I'm kinda stumped on exactly how to mount this thing. I only have a fuse wired inline for the last 6-8 monthes, but due to the upcoming racing season it is required that a kill switch is mounted on the exterior of the car. I've seen 9d2tsi's pics and tech articles but again a 1gb is well enough different than a 1ga in terms of the setup of the taillights. any help would be appreciated..

Ludachris I remember reading that you was gonna do a kill switch so got any pics??
BTW o2 housing is really nice

Next time please do not bump your thread...

I don't have any pics of the cut off switch at the moment but I'll try and take some today. You'll have to get the dremel out and do some grinding on the inside of the panel where the keyhole is. You might want to pic up an extra center panel to play with. I was lucky and got mine right he first time.

PM "newlogics" he did a very clean install in his rear taillight where he has four screws ( i think) that hold the center taillight on, then when its time to go to the track, he unscrews them and the taillight cover comes off and exposes the battery switch and 2 vents. Pretty nice for a daily driven car, i wouldnt want to have a kill switch on the outside of my car for everyone to play with.
