Blow Off Valve issue

Guys I have noticed that when my car is at high boost and my BOV opens and at the same time I press on my brakes, the pedal gets really hard until the BOV closes. I have never seen this before please help. Basically I lose vacum in the intake. Did I connect the Vac. hose incorrectly on the Intake M? Also I though that the BOV was busted I opened it up and its still new. And the vac line is connected to the upper lip on the BOV. Please help.

the check valve for your brake booster is bad.

Or, missing altogether. It hides inside the vacuum cannister hose.
