Opinion on the ATR Exhaust system...

Question...

What are you guys opinoins of the ATR 3" Exhaust system? I have a 93 eagle talon tsi awd. Also how easy is installation on this exhaust? would i be able to do it myself or would i have to get someone to weld it?

One word, Loud.. My friend had one on his and it was very loud.. But it sound soo cool and we drove though under ground garages set off alarms. The only thing that bug me was when it rained and only when it rained the exhaust would hit the driveshaft. I don't know why thou. But It was a true 3 inch exhaust. and if you don't mind the noise it a great exhaust. BTW my friend car was a 1994 talon awd TSI.

I loved my ATR on my old 1994 TSi AWD. I will also say that it would bounce off the drive shaft every once and a while. It was very loud and it is even louder if you get a full turbo back. The exhaust fit pretty well except around the drive shaft portion. Sounds very deep and it was very easy to set off car alarms in parking lots and other various places. The quality was very good and you can tell some money went into researching it. I do think it is the loudest exhaust on the market for both 1Gs and 2Gs. I got pulled over for mine once and I wasn't even in the throttle at all.

I have an ATR on my talon now and it is great. straightest loudest SS exhaust I've ever seen and this is the 3rd cat-back on my car. Mine never hits the driveshaft.

cat-back and yes you can install it your self. It not too expenive either. hahn racecraft sells them, I think???

Expect to pay just over 800 for the turbo back and about 500 for the cat back. Keep in mind this is full stainless steel and 3 inches and will never have to be replaced.
