SO I was getting on the Freeway tonight and Next thing I know I've got smoke coming from the back of the car.... I get it to a parking lot I and I blew my plasic top of my radiator so I lost all my fluid. It never got into the red for over heating. But when I start it I can see sparks from under the Intake and hear a clanking sound.... Oils clean.

Prognosisis?:dsm:

91 GSX stock boost, 133k new timing belt and head gasket....

And Im leaking oil from the somewhere in the front now...

Well if the plastic top was blown off the radiator then you probably didn't have any fluid in the system. If the temp gauge doesn't have any coolant to read then you could have been severally overheating and the gauge wouldn't read hot. Sounds like the motor might have had a bad failure. I would jack it up and check the bottom end of the motor well for signs of failure.

Oh, no there was fluid alright! haha thats what was sprayed all over my motor, windshield, and out the back. The Oils fine, drained it. No smoke from the tail pipe. Only symtoms are the noise and the crack.

If thiers no fluid going through the water pump, would it make a loud racket? Im tearing into everything now. to see if I can find anything out, thanks

Bump, and the car still idles but sounds like there's compression coming from somewhere under the intake...

thanks
