Hey guys I'm looking for the shaft seals for a stock 60mm 1G Throttle Body. If anyone has 2 for sale or know where to pick em up please let me know. Thanks!

MHI doesn't manufacture them anymore btw.

90 ?? Chicago rawhide . One is a cr 3030 (8x12x3) and a cr3930 (10x14x3) . They are listed as oil seals .

When swapping the TB out, does anything else need to be changed other than the shaft seals? Thanks for the MachV link!

It never hurts to replace the two gaskets on either side of the throttle body. While it's out, you can clean it with brake-kleen and polish the barrel with steel wool. Get all that carbon off. Also, once it's back together, always do a boost leak test.

Be prepared for the two screws on the throttle plate to be very tight. They are small and you really have to reef on them to remove, probably have some thread lock on them. Use blue locktite when re-installing.

Glad you brought that up, I forgot how tight those were. yellowkyd278, make DAMN sure you have the right size of screwdriver, they will strip easily if you have one a little too small.

Does MachV also carry the gaskets on either side? I'm sure MHI doesn't make them either. Anyone know the specific scredriver spec? I'm notorious for stripping screws and wouldn't this be about the worst one to strip.

I didn't have a big problem with the screws. I found a small drill bit and a cordless drill and put as much pressure as I could on there and they came out without a fight. I used pb blaster on both sides of the screws though. And be prepared to find some carbon. Oh my god it was scary looking at how much gunk were on my tb and intake manifold...

The screws are not that tight . They are press punched on the back to flatten them , so they do not back out . Is it a 90 throttle body ??? That will make a difference on the seals and the gasket closest to the Tb .
