Anybody have ideas for how to get more headroom in my 2g awd? Can the seat be mounted lower somehow without losing the slider? I dont care if its power or not. My head is almost on the ceiling if I sit right.

My brother's Civic was the same way, we moves the seats back about 4" and lowered them 1", and it solved the problem. It was just a matter of making some new brackets, since most seats are mounted on a raised portion of the floor, they can sometimes be lowered if they are moved towards the back seat. If you don't have a fair amount of fabrication experience then you shouldn't attempt it. Improperly mounted seats could become a safety issue.

Get a racing seat and dont use the sliders. I am 6'2 and now even with a helmet sitting straight up (fixed back racing seat) I still have like an inch. Before I couldnt sit straight up and even pushed back my hair would brush the top.

I think Beau (GSX3437) did the same thing in his car since he's pretty tall and it gave him considerably more room. You lose the adjustability but if you set the seat where you want it, I don't see why it wouldn't work.

I never had a problem in my 2g or 1g. Im 6' 3" and I have the seat a bit closer, and recline it back some. You need to find something that is comfortable and suits your driving habbits. I cant sit straight up anyhow when driving. Its too awkward

Get a 2g that doesn't have the power sunroof. I have a lot more headroom in mine.

Although, I suppose the no slider idea would be more cost effective. ;)
