how much of a diffrence in power would this make?

Right now my car is running in safe made due to a bad thermister. It is part of the temp sensor on the maf. In safe mode the car will only reach 7 pounds of boost. I am getting the car fixed thursday and i am putting on my boost controller and setting it to 15psi. I am hoping to feel a huge incress in power. I have read that each pound of boost is about 7-10hp. So from 7-15 pounds is 8psi so that could be from 56-80hp. Did you any one feel a big diffrence going from 11 to 15? I can't wait to see what it feels like. :laugh:

There is another thread about this in the newbie forum. It has some good stuff in it.

but basically, the more other mods you put on your car(exhaust, intercooler pipes etc) the more hp per psi you will make.

you should deffinately feel an increase in power, I took out my BCS restrictor (which is supposed to add 1-2 psi) and I could feel a difference with that alone
