i would like to know if you had the money, which of these would you buy first and which last for a eclipse gst/talon tsi FWD
my goals are to keep stock turbo unitl i absoluteley have to change it and to run low 13's.

2.5 or 3???

I like the Thermal exhaust since that is what I have. Seems most DSMer's go for the Apex N1 or the Thermal. You probably can't go wrong with either of the exhaust systems that you have listed. The Thermal sounds really good IMHO!
 
My votes for a custom exhaust from a tuner shop. For inctance www.rnrracing.com ...the cost is MUCH better, your looking at a few hundred bucks more for 1k worth of exhaust from any of those other tuners.
 
Its not going to be a very big difference at all regardless of which one you choose. Like the guy before said go with a custom exhaust for like 200 bucks and take off your cat. You will notice big gains.
 
I got a Tanabe and liked it...but now I think I might go with Thermal cause Tanabe necks down right after the cat at the begining of the pipe to make it fit with the stock cat. Then again I don't know if Thermal does this either.

The Thermal does that also. The Apex N1 is the only one that doesn't I believe.
