Just put on my greddy type-s bov today and im having trouble tuning it.
No matter if i have it tuned hard or soft i get a whistling noise after i let off the gas after the bov goes off... So its spools fine blow-off fine and Whistle After that..

Mine did the same thing. I didn't notice any side affects, so I didn't bother messing with it. Is it like a two tone whistle higher pich first then a lower pich right after it. It actually made my girlfriend giggle everytime it did it.

i figured out the problem.

My bov was set to soft.

i never used the ally key to tighten it harder just made it harder by hand. So i tighted it down as far is it would go then went about half way out softer. It spools up very fast now to 15lbs and i only spikes in 3rd around 19lbs then settles to 15. I still need to mess with it i noticed a little bit of compressor surge at low rpm low boost in a high gear.
maybe if i went 1turn softer or half a turn or 3/4 a turn.
The Joy's of tuning!

i don't have any problems with mines. i can tell the difference when its hard or soft ny the blowoff.
