Im doing the 1g throttle body swap on my 2g and Im using the Roadrace method where you stuff the manifold with rags.My question is about half way through I pulled the rags out to make sure nothing was getting by them and its worked pretty good but a couple of flakes of aluminum got to the way back of the intake. Now Im wondering if I should pull the intake manifold and make sure more didnt get past. When I look down it with a flash light theres probably 6-9 little flakes back there but Im also not done yet.I would hate to pull the whole intake for nothing.I was planning on running the car for 5-10 minutes and then doing a oil change after anyways but I just dont know if that would be enough what do you guys think.

Thats what I thought but there a few that are stuck to the carbon in the intake manifold and its to far in to really get at them.

For future refrense i would not ever take the rags out before you are done. The more times you do stuff like that the more that sneaks bye. Try a vacum if that doesn't work sometime you can use an aircompressor and blow the stuff loose then get a vacum to it. Also not that this is right at all because its not, but i have done same thing you are doing on cars and had to start it with little tiny flakes and they have been fine. Not saying it will be the same for you but just throwing it out there if you are freaking out. Also after check your oil for sparkle then you can see if you got alot in there. Unless there is quite abit i wouldnt got to an extreme of taking off intake mani. Thats just my opninon though some people would say its worth it.
