Megan Racing EVO VIII Exhaust Manifold ?

Ok I know this is a dumb question but Megan Racing doesn't make a stock replacement manifold for DSM's. Just T3 one's. One of my friends has had a Megan Racing exhaust manifold for almost a year and a half and it still looks awesome and bolted on 18hp to his setup on his EVO VIII. I was wondering if the EVO VIII manifold is a direct bolt on for us...same motor so I would think so...right?

The EVO8 manifold utilizes a divided inlet (twin scroll) turbine housing. It will not work with your setup.

Even if you got rid of the twin scroll devider( like a T3 setup) you would still run into the problem of the turbo running into the alternator. Our turbos sit more to the passenger side and the Evo's turbo is mor to the driver's side.

you would just have to get crafty with your o2 housing, the turbo itself would clear easily. if your using an evo vIII exhaust manifold, with an evo VIII turbo, the turbine actually faces at a downward angle already, so it shouldn't be much of a problem. Except there are a lot of other issuse with using an evo VIII turbo on our cars, so I wouldn't go to the trouble.

You guys dont think you can bolt on a evo8 manifold and then take the turbo and bolt it on so that the cold side is facing the passenger side? I looked at the turbine housing and the manifold once and it looked like you could almost just turn it around and bolt it on. Or you could buy the tubular manifold they make for the evo8 and have the flange were it bolts on to the turbo cut off and rewelded on the opposite way. You are going through more trouble for a turbo that is about the same as an evo3 16g... Can you make more power with a evo8 turbo because of the housing?
