Ok guys, i have a problem, and i think its a bad bearing in my turbo. WHen the car is cold, and it spools, the turbo makes like a weird, high ptiched clicking sound. Everyone's said its a bad bearing. And if it is, what if anything can i do to remedy it, at least untill i can get a new one. Somone i know suggested unloading a can of carb cleaning into it, but im not sure about that. Has anyone else experienced this? ANy help would be appreciated, thanks

go easy on the boost until you can rebuild the turbo. That's all i got. Anyone else?

well the bearing inside the turbo is actually a full floating bearing. (not a ball bearing) from the noise u describe its kinda hard to tell. u can always try the junkyard or somethin and slap on another tdo4/5 and see what happens...

check to make sure its not comin from the ecu (the clicking)
also.... do not spray carb cleaner inside of the tubro... bad news... seals will go and now u got forced air with some oil
