ive got a couple questions regarding these, first of all, i got the 3 gauge a pillar, for my 1 g talon, and i dont seem to be able to get it to fit. they gave me shitty install directions and so do i have to cut out the stock a pillar? the botom part of the pod does not align right with my dash, is this a common problem? if you can help this would be great. thanks alot

usually the bottom parts squeezes inbetween the dash the and the pillar to hold hte bottom piece in. is it because it's too long to fit in that location like you need to trim 1 inch from the bottom? if so then just ram it down in there and it will line up at the top.

You don't take the stock one out though this just fits right over top (as long as it's the same as autometer) that si.

my friend bought one for his nx2000 and his was too wide. He had to cut about half an inch off the side of it to get it to fit.

The one for my Spyder fit like a glove. I would give them a call. From what I have heard, they have good support. In fact, I will be calling them to see about trading up my 3 gauge for a 3.

the lotek pods should completely replace the a-pillar trim....
the one for my car also fit like a glove... i would give them a call, or email them... make sure that you got the right part...

i got my 1g 3 gauge pillar pod, and it fit perfect. it didn't fit right over the one that was there, so i just cut the stock pillar off so that only a little will be at it at the top. if you have auto seatbelts, then the track will be in the way. goto the hardware store and get 1/2'' screw, and just drill into the track. it won't hurt it at all, and i am extremely happy with how mine turned out.

Ditto this. I got mine last week and fell into the same situation. Trim the stock one right before the top guage and get a smaller screw, or trim the one they sent with pod. It looks and works awesome... I love it!! I trimmed the stock pilliar moulding to give some room for the wiring also... good luck!!:thumb:
