Which flywheel is the best?

Ok i need to get a lightened flyweel for my 96gst. i need a 6 bolt flywheel though. 1g to 2g motor swap!!!! My local performance shop said to go with unorthadox, but they are very expensive. i was thinking of going with fidaza or jun. I found out today that jun doesnt make a flywheel for mine, being it is front wheel drive. do u have any other suggestions. i would like to get a kit with the flywheel and clutch. remember i am on a tight budget.

Fidanza is the best. Just make sure when you get it it is for your drivetrain and above all else MAKE SURE the step height is correct. I told my buddy about that cause he got one for his VR-4 and sure enough the step height was off.

ok thx. i have another delima. i dont have enough money to afford a new clutch and the flywheel. should i get a stock flywheel and a race clutch or should i use my stock clutch and get a lightened flywheel. my clutch was still in good shape. it had a few hot spots on it but other than that it didnt slip at all.

The I reccomend a stronger clutch and getting stock flywheel resurfaced. A stronger clutch will go alot farther than a light flywheel and stock clutch.

ok well what about the act 2100 clutch and indigo flywheel kit. is that a pretty good kit. or do u know of any other combo's like that. 699 sounds like a good deal.

Never heard of that flywheel. If it's not fidanza, JUN, or Centerforce(which a fidanza anyway) I would get it. I do have a act2100 on my car and like it alot.

I have a funny story about my flywheel...

See, Mitsu machined my flywheel wrong.. it was only using the outer half of the clutch, so my car until i changed the flywheel, went through eeeehhhh... 5 clutches by the time i got it at 70k... pretty shitty eh?

now i have a machined stock one.. works fine for me.
